The landscape of Devon was radically changed in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Many notable architects worked on the county's fine country houses and gardens and we are very fortunate to have Jonathan Lovie, Principal Conservation Officer and Policy Advisor at the Garden History Society to talk about the 'Devon Improvers'.
