Description:
A large early nineteenth century stuccoed mansion formerly owned by the Symons family. Stockdale noted that it was ‘an elegant mansion very delightfully situated nearly half a mile from the road leading to Ivy Bridge from whence it has, with the surrounding plantations a very interesting appearance.’ Sadly the house is now subdivided and surrounded by housing. There is a small triangular rubble stone folly tower in the former grounds
