This is an important role that helps the many aspects of our charity to operate efficiently.
It may seem dry but our meetings are usually lively and it is an opportunity for someone with an interest in garden history to learn more.
We are seeking a volunteer administrative secretary to call and minute minutes and file the annual report and accounts with the Charity Commission.
It is estimated that these tasks will take on average five hours a month. Our meetings are held 4/5 times a year, either in person (Exeter) or via Zoom, in addition to the AGM.
This would suit someone with organisational, administrative and secretarial skills. Experience of being a Company Secretary, preferably in the charity sector, would be advantageous.
