Interested in historic landscapes and "Living History?" This talk will look at where oral research fits in with other forms of research, its benefits and pitfalls. The talk will also examine how we communicate and look at a range of interview techniques that can be used, and the outcomes you can expect. It will draw on examples from from our speaker Suzanne Jones' experience as a clinician, project manager and as a local historian.
You will also find out how you can put what you have learnt into practice with an upcoming Devon Gardens Trust proposed oral history project.
