Devon Gardens Trust welcome applications from garden owners for grants for work related to conservation projects in the following categories:
- Conservation of historic garden structures such as the restoration of garden buildings, boundaries, paths, features like fountains, monuments, or the reinstatement or restoration of structural planting (trees/hedges) that will restore the original design.
- Preparation of Conservation Management Plans and Garden Management Plans.
- Delivery of interpretation materials related to historic designed landscapes.
We will consider applications for up to £25,000 but may choose to fund several smaller projects up to this total amount.
Applications will be considered from garden owners, whether public or private, as long as the public benefit of the project can be demonstrated, and the objectives are similar to those of Devon Gardens Trust.
The project must relate to a publicly accessible garden, park or cemetery in the county of Devon.
