Our guest speaker will be Jane Knight, one of our trustees and Head of Landscape Design, Experience Development at the Eden Project.
Jane Knight is a Landscape Architect and has worked at the Eden Project for more than 20 years - joining soon after the opening in 2001. As one of the UK's most significant contemporary gardens, she will outline some of the design thinking which is firmly based in the tradition of other famous Cornish gardens but with a very different purpose, and she will explore some of the challenges of a maturing garden in the 21st century. Jane will also offer a sneak preview of her work on the new Edens being planned in Morecombe, Dundee and overseas.
The talk will be approximately one hour (with questions) followed by tea, coffee and cake.
