Visit to Chevithorne Barton, home to the largest collection of Oaks

The Trust is privileged to have a special visit to Chevithorne Barton for a special guided tour of the Oak collection founded by Michael Heathcote Amory. The visit is timed to appreciate the colours of the early foliage. Collection Curator, James McEwan, and Head Gardener, Greg Watson, will be our guides to the Collection of more than 441 differently named oaks. We will also have the opportunity to expore the gardens. This visit will be joint with members of the Royal Forestry Society.

Places will be limited to ensure sensible group sizes for the tour. So book early.
