Visit to Heanton Satchville

The twenty acres of gardens, in part designed by William Sawley Gilpin, include the ‘Cottage Walk’ woodland garden with Camellia, Rhododendron, Acer and Hydrangea collections and parkland with a large collection of veteran trees, two walled gardens with three glasshouses used to grow produce and for plant propagation. There are stunning views and vistas of the North Devon countryside.
