Carolyn Keep is a past Chairman of DGT and regular contributor to our journal. She has been interested in the history of gardening for children since 1975, collecting books and searching out information. For this lecture she has selected some interesting examples, particularly those with visual appeal. Light is thrown on garden design and practice from the 1830s to the present. Changing styles in publishing and printing reflect the ways in which adults communicate with children.
